During hikes we will learn about the most common plants, animals and fungi and will also be watching birds that we come across through binoculars. We will also be contemplating the importance of forest and swamp ecosystems as a whole and discussing what every person could do for the preservation of clean nature. As we want to make sure we do not get lost on the trail, If desired, we will acquaint ourselves with the principles of using a map and a compass to make sure we do not get lost.
